Dear Friends,

I hope you are well! I want to share that I recently moved to Hollywood, California. I have a unique opportunity to pursue my dreams by starting my own production company, ALLS Productions, to tell Asian-Lead Love Stories. 

I am proud and excited to announce that I will be shooting, Talk About, my 1st music video for a song that I wrote under ALLS Productions this Fall. In Hitchcock fashion, I will be playing a 1950's housewife yearning for the attention of my absent-minded husband. She fantasizes about her own self-empowerment and in the end, leaves him. The major thematic elements that my director and I are keen on showcasing is (1) the history of the male vs female gaze in traditional cinema, (2) the ownership of taking control of our image along with our sexuality and (3) the power of how nuanced representation can be without spoon-feeding the audience .

This 1st project will be valuable for me to use as portfolio work so that I can pitch more future projects in Hollywood.
